Our Story

We love our own collies and know how much individual attention and walks they need to fulfil them, both mentally and physically. 

But what happens when an unexpected situation or one-off event takes us away from them? 

Most dog walkers and dog sitters are fully booked well in advance and don’t specialise in one-off, one household walks. Friends and family can help out sometimes, but wouldn’t it be easier if there was a service that you could call upon in this situation?

This is how Solo Paws came to be. 

We offer a Wedding dog chaperone service. We know how important it is for your dogs to be part of your special day, feature in your ceremony, wedding photographs etc. Please contact to discuss availability, requirements and cost.

Why might Solo Paws be right for you?

• We offer an ad hoc, personalised dog walking and dog/cat sitting service 
• We specialise in one-household dog walks only, meaning your dog(s) will have our full attention at all times
• We arrange an informal meet 'n' greet prior to using our service to ensure that you, and your dog/cat(s), can meet us and discuss your requirements.  We want you to know your dog/cat is in trusted hands, and strive to provide a personalised experience to the best of our ability. No two dogs/cats are the same and we want your dog/cat(s) to enjoy their time with us giving you one less thing to worry about.
• We don’t ask you to commit to a weekly/monthly/regular schedule
• We can take the stress out of unexpected/planned events as you will know that your dog/cat(s) are being given the utmost care while you are: at jury duty; day in the office; hospital appointment; at a wedding; at the dentist; at a funeral; visiting your great aunt Marjorie…
• We are trained in pet first aid (certificate available to view)
• We are fully insured (documents available to view)
• We have a full disclosure check (documents available to view)
• Our costs are reasonable and completely transparent – there will never be hidden costs
• We are good for the environment – we will travel to you on foot/bicycle whenever possible
• We know the local area and will take your dog(s) straight from your door to the outdoors so no need to worry if your dog is an unsettled passenger
• We are based near Luncarty, Stanley and Bankfoot. However, can travel much further afield for weddings.
• We love dogs and cats.

We care about all dogs and cats and want your dogs/cats to have the best experience with us. Laura is undertaking a canine behaviour course in to ensure we have all the tools needed to support all dogs, and owners.
